The 3rd Hylee Farm Production & Consignment Sale was held on October 30th at the farm in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. Thirty-four Morgan show horses and prospects went through the sale ring, and at the end of the day 30 sold.
The high selling horse was Hylee’s Dannation, a 2003 bay gelding, who brought $91,000. By Liberation First Star out of HVK Vigilgrace, Dannation has won in the Open Park Saddle division and has been ridden by a lady, a junior exhibitor and a walk/trot rider. He has won numerous championships in hand, both as a stallion and as a gelding.
The 30 head grossed $199,500, with a sale average of $6,650 and a sale percentage of 88%. The Top 5 sellers brought $137,000, for an average price of $27,400.
