The 2012 BBR (Better Barrel Races) World Finals Barrel Horse Sale was held on April 28 at the OKC Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Fifty well-bred barrel horses and prospects were sent through the ring with 38 selling.

The high selling horse was Magic Master Bug, a 1997 black AQHA gelding, who sold for $32,500. He is sired by Mr. Master Bug SI 110 (SI-speed index), a Six-Time Champion, stakes winner of 17 races with earnings of $1,793,798, and the sire of 113 ROM (Register Of Merit) with earnings of $918,193. His dam is Pansy Bar Pine by Pines Easter Jet SI 102, a AAA producer and a proven WPRA (Women’s Professional Rodeo Association) winning barrel producer. Magic Master Bug has Barrel Futurities of America earnings of $23,810.

The 38 horses that sold netted a total of $294,700, for an average price of $7,755 and a sale percentage of 72%. The Top 6 sellers brought $128,000, averaging $21,333.
