The Toskhara Arabian Sale was held June 4th in Aubrey, Texas. Ninety-two Arabian horses, some imported from Poland, were offered in this first sale. From beautiful mares and foals, all the way to flashy show horses, a buyer had a large variety to choose from.

The high selling horse was TA Eurostar, a 2008 grey stallion, who brought $4,500. His sire is *Kordelas, a son of Monogramm, who had been raced in Poland, shown in the UK, Paris, and the United States, sired International Champions in North America and Europe, and ranked #14 for Performance sires of US Nationals in 2010. His dam, TA Europecjka by Pasat, was imported from Poland. He was shown as a youngster in Halter, is broke to ride, and is currently in reining training.

Of the 92 horses offered, 53 were passed out and 39 were sold. The 39 head totaled $49,400, with an average price of $1,267 and a sale percentage of 53%. The Top sellers brought $17,250, for an average of $3,450. It seemed there were more lookers than buyers at this sale, and that most buyers were there hunting for a bargain.
