The Lapke Quarter Horses 14th annual Production Sale was held on August 11, 2012, at the livestock auction in Dunlap, Iowa. Besides selling the weanlings, the Lapke’s were also dispersing their broodmare band but were retaining their World Champion stallions and the families personal riding horses. The weanlings were sired by Lena Gallo, Fuel N Shine, Genuine Doc O Lena, Smart Steps (a black son of Wimpys Little Step), and the broodmares were exposed to these stallions.
